Symphony 8 Opens This Weekend

Back Bay has a new hot spot, and that's Symphony 8. The restaurant boast 3 full bars, and two different type of specialty menus and coming soon - a speakeasy area.

The first bar/pub is Sinasa, which is an Irish drinking pub featuring Irish breakfast all day (black pudding, here I come!), fish and chips, shepherd's pie and over 60 beers on tap. The pub also features HD TVs for viewing sports. According to Daily Candy, in a few weeks, you can go through a secret bookcase in the corner and head down the stairs to Prohibited, a speakeasy with plenty of booths for lounging. I've decided this speakeasy trend was brought on by Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass. In a good way. :)

The second half is Symphony 8 Bistro, where the menu features duck confit and other tasty bits. The restaurants also feature $8 menu deals, so in this economy, that's a nice touch. So, head over there for a date fellas, and when it doesn't work out, there is a good old standard pub to meet the fellas at. Actually, that gives me an idea for Sundays... ;)

Symphony 8 is located 8 Westland Ave. Click here for more info.
