So director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, The Hulk) is coming out soon with a film about Woodstock, and as the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock approaches, the International Poster Gallery is giving us a great lesson.
On Thursday night, from 5:00pm-7:30pm, head over to Newbury Street to meet Arnold Skolnick, designer of the iconic 1969 poster. Learn the story behind the poster, view the original 1969 poster and Mr. Skolnick's newly designed limited edition 40th anniversary poster. Both are available for purchase and signing in the gallery. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested at woodstock@internationalposter.com. International Poster Gallery is located at 205 Newbury Street.Photo courtesy of the International Poster Gallery
