This Friday night the Arts at the Armory in Somerville is hosting a great food event for the ethnic food lover in all of us.
Sample the delicious tastes from participating immigrant owned Somerville restaurants at YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City. Some of the participating restaurants include: Machu Picchu Charcoal Chicken & Grill (Peruvian), Fasika (Ethiopian), Highland Creole Cuisine and Cafe Belo (Brazilian). The event will also feature music from Somerville-based Ecuadoran band Yarina and international dance performances by the Greater Boston Nepali Community Youth and La Salsa. You'll enjoy artwork around the Armory, too.
Yum is to sponsor The Welcome Project, and tickets are $40 for the event. For tickets and more information, click here.
