Locavores rejoice- Journeyman, a 36-seat restaurant opened yesterday in Union Square.
The restaurant will be offering dinner Wednesday-Sundays, with the occasional special event on a Monday or Tuesday evening. The restaurant offers three-, five-, and seven-course menus (both omnivorous and veggie) with seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and the dining room’s own garden. The 3 course menu is priced at $39, 5 course $69 and 7 course at $85.
The restaurant is also is staying true to its local-ness in its bar by offering a season beer list focusing on American microbreweries, especially from Massachusetts.
Journeyman is open Wednesday-Sunday from 5:30pm to 10:00pm and open Saturdays as well for lunch between 11:30am-2:00pm. Journeyman is located at 9 Sanborn Ct, Somerville. Click here for more info.
