Watertown is the Boston area's own melting pot of sorts, as you drive down Rt. 16 (aka Mt. Auburn Street) you notice the variety of cultural bakeries and groceries. Local Iranians have also made Watertown a spot for foods from the homeland.
With that, I was happy to see that in additional to Molana, a new venue has opened - Shiraz Cuisine. Click here for the recent Globe review. And when you head out to Watertown, stop by Tabrizi Bakery from some delicious treats. And if you can't make it to Watertown, check out Moby Dick's on Huntington Street (near Symphony Hall) in Boston. The kabob wraps are delicious.
