Lovers of Petsi's Pies (I am one of them) will be happy to hear that Rene McLeod, the owner of Petsi's Pies is finally opening this week her Southern inspired restaurant Tupelo. Located on Cambridge Street in Inman Square in the old Magnolia's location, the restaurant will be open Tuesday-Sunday, 5:00pm-10:00pm. Tupelo's menu is rumored to be featuring southern faves as shrimp remoulade, seafood creole, jambalaya, fried catfish, New Orleans gumbo, banana pudding
and cheddar grits. I'm beginning to wonder why I'm writing this and not just heading over. Sure to be a hit, Tupelo is located at 1193 Cambridge Street. You can thank me later. ;)
